SITRONICS Group of Companies and Tyumen Industrial University create a center of competence in the IT-sphere

SITRONICS Group of Companies and Tyumen Industrial University have agreed to create a technological educational and research cluster on the basis of the university for the development of digital competencies of human resources.

Within the framework of the agreement, Tyumen Industrial University organizes training of specialists in the areas of “Information systems and technologies”, “Software engineering” on the basis of project training. The Competence Center created in the University at the request of the SITRONICS group of companies will provide qualified personnel to participate in the implementation of joint projects.

“Agreement with the Tyumen Industrial University on the establishment of the Competence Center – our first project of this kind with educational institutions. TIU is a pivotal university that trains technical personnel in the construction, oil and gas industry and in the IT direction. Cooperation with the university will contribute to the digitalization of the oil and gas and extractive industries. It is planned that, if necessary, the Competence Center will take part in the implementation of the solutions of the SITRONICS group of companies in the region, organize laboratory and field tests. In turn, our company will contribute to the implementation of the university’s research agenda”, said Nikolay Pozhidaev, President of the SITRONICS Group.

On the basis of the Competence Center specialists of the university and the SITRONICS group of companies plan to develop project documentation, applications, software solutions, information systems machine learning, prototypes of equipment, as well as IoT devices.

“In the period of global digitalization, cooperation between the University and SITRONICS in the field of information technology will allow us to reach a new level development and will contribute to the implementation of the concept of building a digital society in the region and in education. Our experience for training specialists in the areas of “Information systems and technologies”, “Software engineering” will help in the development and implementation of innovative solutions at various levels of interaction between business, region, state and population”, – commented the rector of Tyumen Industrial University Veronika Efremova.
