Our primary business activities include the distribution of our partners' products (global IT companies), system integration and provision of accompanying IT services, which include business consulting, IT infrastructure development, telecom integration, and software development. These services are mostly offered in Russia and Ukraine, but we also have customers in Azerbaijan, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Moldova, Serbia, and other countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
We have been operating in the system integration market and accompanying IT services since 1994. Since then we have gained a number of major customers in various sectors of the economy, including telecommunications, banking, insurance, and the metallurgical industry.
At present, our principal corporate customers include companies affiliated with the Sistema Group companies, such as МТS, UMC, UzdunRobita and Comstar UTS, but we also service a large number of corporate customers that are not part of the Sistema Group. For example, in the financial sector our customers include Ukrsotsbank, Indeksbank, Garant АVТО Strakhovanie, Nurbank and TuranAlem Bank. In the telecom industry, we have completed projects for Ukrtelecom and Astelit. Additionally, large industrial companies, including Mechel, Severstal and Mittal Steel used our services in 2006.
Government departments and agencies use our system integration and accompanying IT services. Our position in the government sector is especially strong in Ukraine, where we have forged long-term relationships with various state bodies and carried out projects for the National Bank of Ukraine, the State Statistics Committee and the State Customs Committee. In Russia, we have implemented projects for the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade.
In addition to system integration technologies, we offer software development services. In particular, we have created training software adapted to the needs of the Russian and Ukrainian Education Ministries, which can be exported to other countries.
Industry leaders, such as Lucent, DM Electronics, Huawei Technologies, Ericsson, Tridion, and ZTE companies, are among our software clients.
