Evgeny Utkin

Mr. Utkin was a President of JSC SITRONICS from 2006 to 2007. Prior to this, he led the IT company, Kvazar-Micro Corporation, which joined SITRONICS in 2004. Mr. Utkin is the founder of Kvazar-Micro, and has been its President and Chairman since 1990.

Before founding Kvazar-Micro, Mr. Utkin directed laboratory research at the Kvazar Plant in Kiev, Ukraine, a centre for the study of microelectronics in the Soviet Union.
As a former student of the Moscow Institute of Electronic Engineering, Mr. Utkin worked as an engineer at the Scientific Research Institute of Precision Technology in Moscow. Mr. Utkin holds a diploma from the Moscow Institute of Electronic Engineering (graduated in 1982). In 1995, he studied at the HP Academy, and in 2001, completed the AMP program at the INSEAD Business School.

Evgeni Utkin served as the Chairman of the Council of Entrepreneurs under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. In 1998, Evgeni Utkin was named "Businessman of the Year" in Ukraine. In 1999, he founded and became the President of the "Ukrainian Association of Software Developers". In 2000, he co-founded "The Ukrainian Union of Intellectual Property".
