SITRONICS announced the provision of innovative Point-to-Multipoint wireless system, WiBAS, to Magyar Telekom, the largest telecommunications services provider in Hungary.
Within the framework of this agreement Magyar Telekom will be exploiting WiBAS Point-to-Multipoint platform and company’s management system (uni|MS) to offer high quality, reliable broadband services to corporate customers in Hungary. The selection of Point-to-Multipoint technology and the market leading WiBAS system is an integral part of Magyar Telekom’s strategy to expand and modernize it’s network and to upgrade, as it prepares for significant growth in advanced data services.
WiBAS is optimized for applications requiring high availability and high capacity on demand using Adaptive Coding and Modulation (up to 256 QAM), statistical multiplexing and dynamic bandwidth allocation. WiBAS efficiently utilizes the Point-to-Multipoint network architecture providing the highest capacity and the quickest connection activation for new customers in the corporate market today. This carrier class product fully preserves the quality of service for voice and broadband data applications.
Customers spanning from PTCL in Pakistan, Maxis in Malaysia, MTS Group in Russia, Etisalat in the United Arab Emirates, T-Mobile in Slovakia and Rolaware in Greece are benefiting the company’s most recent Point-to-Multipoint deployments.
